Get Kraken Co is the home of freelance designer and developer Matt Kersley.

I have over fifteen years experience designing and developing websites and branding for all types and size of business. I’ve worked with companies such as Expedia, Virgin, Egmont, Autogas, Trades Union Congress and a myriad of smaller companies.

I specialise in websites built in WordPress and purpose-built custom WordPress themes.
WordPress is an excellent, open source platform and is easily extended in functionality to build all sorts of websites – from multi-national eCommerce sites (casestation.com) to conference sites (soe2017.org).

I’ve worked for one of the UK’s leading WordPress based web design agencies since 2010, and have helped transform small start-ups into flourishing businesses (onlinceramics.com) and helped established businesses double their trade (classicleatherfobs.co.uk).

Aside from building websites, I’ve taken and edited wedding photos, product photos and a number of portraits, so I’m well adept at taking photos for your project. However, if you still want a full-time professional photographer, I can recommend one, or sub-contract and manage the process for you.
